Discord Guidelines

All members, including staff, must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Guidelines. Here are the resources where you can find out more about them.

Chat Guidelines

To make this server a safe space, we have implemented chatting rules.

Language

  • This server is English only for now; keep an eye out for updates

Behaviors

  • Arguments/fighting within the server are prohibited
  • Toxic behavior towards other members will not be permitted

Harassment and Discrimination

  • Treat everyone with respect
  • Slurs of any kind are not permitted within Pandora
  • Listen to the instructions the staff has to say!
  • Bullying, cyberbullying, and discrimination are prohibited

Privacy and Advertising

  • Do not share personal/private information
  • Do not ask for personal/private information
  • Advertising of any kind is not allowed

Voice Chat Guidelines

We have some rules for voice chat, but to avoid confusion we split them up into 2 categories.

General VC Rules

Soundboard

  • Playing abrupt soundboard sounds may get your permission banned.
  • Constant spam from the soundboard is prohibited, as it annoys members
  • Playing a banned soundboard sound may result in heavy action!

Voice Changer

  • Using a voice changer to annoy users will result in a mute
  • Make sure people within the VC are fine with a voice changer
  • Using a voice changer to mask your age will result in a ban

Behaviors

  • Joining the VC to disrupt, annoy, or troll is prohibited

Custom VC Rules

Channel Name/Behavior

  • Names that are deemed offensive/inappropriate will result in the immediate closure of that VC, alongside a Custom VC ban
  • Behavior within the VC that's inappropriate or offensive will result in a mute

Content Guidelines

Content guidelines apply to all forms of attachments/messages.

Inappropriate Content

  • No hateful, triggering, or sensitive content
  • No violence, slurs, or targeted attacks

NSFW/Gore

  • No sexual, suggestive, or explicit content
  • No blood, injuries, or graphic harm
  • Light fictional gore is allowed as long as it's censored and a TW is attached to the image

Moderation Actions + Information

Here is some information on how to report users.

Reporting

  • To report a message, react to it with 🚩
  • To report a specific user, please use the /report command and follow the instructions provided

Actions

  • Actions may vary depending on the severity of the rule. They are split into 3 categories; to view more about each category, go to the bottom of this section.

Mini Modding

  • We prohibit members from pretending to be mods. If someone is breaking a rule, please see Reporting in this section.

Minor Actions

Minor actions are given for first-time light offenses like spamming or trolling.

  • Warnings and temporary 24h mutes are given within this area
  • Appeals for warnings are always allowed (appeal if you feel the warning was unjustified/unfair)

Serious Actions

Actions that are escalated from minor (if continued), or immediate actions if the user is breaking rules that require heavy moderation action.

  • Kicks, temp bans, and mutes ranging from above 24h to 1 week may be given
  • Depending on the severity, appeals may be enabled/disabled for the action

Heavy Actions

Rule breaks that are immediately put within this category, or escalated from the 2 previous categories, are met with even more serious and heavy action from moderators.

  • A temp ban or a permanent ban may be set in place
  • Depending on the severity, appeals may be enabled/disabled for the ban
